Zane Andrews is a seasoned yacht builder and professional sportfishing captain with 15 years of hands-on experience in yacht building, managing new builds and refits. He has overseen more than 15 new Viking builds, bringing deep, practical knowledge of vessel systems, finishes, and performance optimization.
Boating and sportfishing run in Zane’s blood—his family owned and operated the world‑famous Tropic Star Lodge for four decades, where he gained extensive exposure to boat construction, refitting, and the exacting needs of serious anglers. Zane excels at boat customization, tailoring each vessel to the owner’s priorities. He skillfully blends functional upgrades, performance tuning, and bespoke interiors to deliver reliable, tournament‑ready vessels designed for the best sportfishing services, all tailored to how you fish.
